Beginning the Bagpipe Tutor Book by Sandy Jones Beginning the Bagpipe: A Teaching Method for the Practice Chanter is an excellent tutor book by PM Sandy Jones, of the North American Academy of Piping. The book contains many exercises essential for building good technique. The lessons are clearly laid out and easy to follow, and there is a very nice selection of tunes, including "Amazing Grace." The Sandy Jones book has started many pipers on their way. A very helpful companion CD is available separately.
