Absolute Hybrid Maple Pink Champagne Sparkle 4pc Kit Opened and inspected. The Absolute Hybrid series inherited the hybrid shell technology found on the flagship PHX series. Absolute Hybrid shells consist of a core ply of wenge, a very hard and heavy wood native to Africa, wedged between plies of maple, known for its clear tone. This hybrid design delivers a rich, clear tone across a full dynamic range, from pianissimo to fortissimo. Shells are 8.0 mm (BD), 6.2 mm (TT, FT). Sizes (depth x diameter): 16×20, 13×14 Floor Tom, 7×10, 8×12.  Set includes double tom holder and three floor tom legs.
