These boxes are so much better for bulk storage. Using them for MTG and likely moving the baseball cards into them as well. Being able to quickly flip through and see the cards name saves a ton of time. I store cards in perfect fot sleeves and then up to 4 in a penny sleeve. This configuration fits perfectly and keeps up to a full playset easily accessible. Extra cards beyond 4 go into the old white boxes orgamized alphabetically only. So far this system has made things very pleasant to store and search. The use of an app like Mana Box is also a nice addition to the storage system. It takes less than 15 seconds to find cards on Mana Box and less than 30 to locate them in the vertical boxes. Just dont fill these to full capacity. Leave some room so you can flip through the cards.The 2 piece box allows for tape to be run around both parts, this adds a lot of extra durability to them. You could ape out and completely cover them if you wanted even. Injust run some duct tape around the body for support and some thinner tape around the lid. They are holding up very well as a primary storage solution for a large, frequently accessed collection.
