When I first opened the pkg. my first thoughts were that this system was somewhat heavy for smaller dogs, my smallest is 9 lbs. But I took them for a walk and ended up loving this leash system, It’s very well made of quality materials. I love the differing colors, has reflective stripes running through the bands, and I particularly like the quick adjust separate leashes for quick adjusting while walking, the hand loop is soft and well designed too. I had a few tangle times but learned how to unclip and reclip quickly and they were few. It has a nice quality feeling in the hand while walking. I would highly recommend it. But if your dogs are under 9 lbs. It may be a little too heavy,
