Lakeside – Abstract Glass Art: This is an original abstract design using stained glass, river stones, sea glass, stone fish, glass half marbles, and a sliced agate stone in the Tiffany method. The piece features cobalt blue, white and grey blue shades of color. All of the edges of each piece were ground and copper foiled. Then the pieces were fit together and its final design emerged in the end. All the pieces were then soldered. After the artwork was assembled, it was given a beautiful copper patina. The patina was left to tarnish a few days before it was waxed to preserve the partially weathered look. The art piece measures 6 3/4″ wide x 8 1/4″ tall. Pictures can’t show the beauty of this piece!
