Dark Water – Abstract Glass Art: This is an original abstract design using stained glass, artisan glass, silver fish, glass half marbles, silver ocean creatures and a lampworked glass leaf in the Tiffany method. The piece features yellow, green, and grey blue shades of color. All of the edges of each piece were ground and copper foiled. Then the pieces were fit together and its final design emerged in the end. All the pieces were then soldered. It was then embellished with tinned copper wire and more solder beads. After the artwork was assembled, it was given a black patina which was then buffed to a gunmetal grey. The art piece measures 5″ wide x 6″ tall with the added wire hanger the length is 8″.
